Pitlochry

Café Biba is situated on Athol Road, the main street of the beautiful Victorian village of Pitlochry. Pitlochry attracts visitors from all over the world to enjoy its fantastic setting in the heart of beautiful Perthshire. It also boats attractions such as the ‘Enchanted Forest’ (www.enchantedforest.org.uk) which takes place each October.The town has two distilleries, Blair Atholl (www.blairatholdistillery.com) and Erdadour, Scotland’s smallest distillery. The famous Pitlochry festival theatre (pitlochryfestivaltheatre.com) attracts audiences for it’s many and varies events throughout the year. Within walking distance of the Café Biba is the dam which has a fish ladder where salmon can be seen leaping up the river.Those of a more adventurous bent can partake in the area’s superb hill walking opportunities, cycling the Etape Caledonia event is held here each year or even go bungee jumping (www.bungiejumpscotland.co.uk). However you fill your day, a visit to Café  Biba is a must when in Pitlochry!

Elgin

In the middle of fantastic Whiskey country, Elgin is a Cathedral City with the remnants of a 13th Century church and lady hill which has a breath taking view  of the town and surrounding area.. Not far id Johnston’s mill, famous for its cashmere production. We also have a museum, Pluscarden Abbey. Moray , Motor Musaum, Spynie Palace and loads more to keep you busy. With great beaches within a short drive, you get the best of everything up here!

 

Dunfermline

Situated within walking distance of the bus and railway stations, we are easy to find before you set off on a tour of historic Dunfermline.  Among other things, there is Dunfermline Abbey, Pittencrieff Park, Andrew Carnegie birthplace museum and Scottish vintage Bus Museum.

 

Dundee

A coastal city on the banks of the Tay, Dundee , the City of Discovery, was known as the city of Jute, Jam and Journalism. It has many museums, perhaps most famous being the new V& A on the waterfront, a stunning building which you can’t miss!
